My First Book

In August of 2022, I had COVID-19.  I was off work for a week and a half.  During that time, I was extremely bored, so I grabbed my MacBook Air and began writing.  I didn't have a story in mind, exactly, but I wrote what my mind came up with.  In six months, I'd written The Fated Mates of Boulder.  I spent so much time writing and editing before I sent my final manuscript to a dear friend.  She spent several weeks editing before finally sending me the final copy.

I formatted my manuscript via Reedsy.com and then began work on designing my cover.  That took the longest time to do.  I went back and forth between three different designs before scrapping all of them for the one I published.  When all of that was done, I submitted my book to Kindle Direct Publishing in both paperback and Kindle formats.  My book was available to the public on July 6, 2023.  Though my books have yet to take off, I am proud of the work I've accomplished, and I have faith my books will find the right readers and take off.
